Health and Humanities is the CHC's reading and discussion program for health care professionals. Facilitated by an experienced scholar of literature, medical staff explore works of fiction, poetry and drama that highlight issues important to carying for people in hospitals and other medical settings.

The Humanities Council currently offers programs for the medical community in partnerships with major medical facilities including the University of Connecticut Health Center and is Danbury Hospital.
